Graduate Opportunities
Graduate students can engage with SCAI through a proposed Integrated Graduate Education Certificate (IGEC) in Society-Centered AI. This program, currently a finalist for major university funding, will support interdisciplinary coursework and dissertation research across ethics, computer science, and the social sciences. The IGEC aims to equip graduate students with the tools to tackle emerging challenges in AI and society.

Undergraduate Opportunities
SCAI is proud to support a new “constellation” of undergraduate courses launching in Fall 2025 that explore the question: How does artificial intelligence impact human experiences? These courses span disciplines—from computer science and physics to sociology and writing—and are designed to introduce students to both the technical foundations and societal implications of AI.
